Arab Muslims are all over the news these days and that’s for all the terrible possible reasons ever: deaths, terrorism and wars. Bassem Youssef, satiric show host that gave hell to the contradictions of Egyptian society and government for the time of three seasons of his show « El Bernameg », former cardiac surgeon and columnist is also in the spot light this week, but not because of terrorism, it’s because he hosted the Emmys awards in New York this Monday! Yes you have read right!

Bassem Youssef has come a long way from hosting the B+ Show on Youtube. He has stopped doing his very successful television show for about a year now and in the meanwhile he has won the International Press Freedom Award offered by the Committee to Protect Journalists  .This Monday 23rd of November he hosted the Emmys awards Ceremony, which made him the first Arab to host the Emmys.
